A Business of the Year award nomination, a record-breaking year both financially and in terms of many additional employers using our services, as well as three new team members – it’s fair to say that 2021 has been an impressive one to date for JVP Group.
With regards to strengthening the team, first through the door back in April was new Recruitment Administrator, Elly Billington.
After a little wait, further new faces arrived like the proverbial London buses as Charlie Wetton and Siwan Jones joined as Talent Attraction Advisor and Content Marketing Executive, respectively.
The trio might be familiar to some, but it wouldn’t hurt to get to know them a little better, would it?
Charlie: Although my time at JVP has been short, I have gained so much experience and knowledge. The training offered and the personal development opportunities are endless, but the best part about the role is genuinely making a difference to clients, to ensure you encapsulate each bespoke advert in the right way. No two days are ever the same!
Elly: Whilst everyone has their own roles, everyone pulls together as a team to help each other.
Siwan: The team! Everyone is friendly and supportive which makes coming into work a delight. The office environment is a warm and welcoming place that allows everyone to openly talk about any ideas they might have with the work they’re doing or what their plans are for the weekend. Overall, it’s a great place to work as you feel like you are welcomed there and everyone around you has a passion for what they’re doing.
Elly: When away from the office I like to be creative, whether that be drawing, sewing, baking or face painting.
Siwan: I enjoy going out with my friends and visiting new cities where we can explore the area and try new things. Although I do like the many experiences big cities have to offer, I do enjoy taking long walks in the countryside and taking in the views North Wales has to offer.
Charlie: I love spending time with my family and my dogs, Arnold and Fred.
Siwan: Our primary school choir won Songs of Praise in 2011 and as a prize we got to sing in the Royal Albert Hall alongside Chris de Burgh, Aled Jones and Alexandra Burke!
Charlie: I qualified for Crufts 2022 – you might even see me on TV next year!
Elly: Having a conversation with Wheatus at their concert in Central Station in Wrexham, and they remembered me from a time I had previously met them at my University Ball.
