Commenting on the launch of JVP Group, Cath Harrison said: “The 12 years experience I have gained within the recruitment industry has been complemented this year by graduating from the LEAD Wales Leadership and Management programme at Bangor University. The ten month programme provided a great opportunity to work alongside other business leaders and provided useful insight into a spectrum of business issues, including staffing challenges faced by a variety of organisations. Additionally, I developed a fresh prospective on the deep impact recruitment has on the success of businesses and the need for effective solutions without a heavy price tag. Attending the RecExpo event for the recruitment industry in October affirmed my thoughts on the changing future for the recruitment industry with advancing technology and the increasing focus of job seekers turning to the internet in the search for new opportunities. It is known that attracting the right talent to fill a job vacancy will have a direct impact on the business performance, therefore selecting the most effective method to achieve this is vital. With the technology we are privileged to have access to, recruitment no longer needs to be an expensive or time consuming process for any business.”
The economic recovery is gathering momentum, with the latest REC/KPMG report showing job vacancies at a 15 year high in November. The report on employment shows that all sectors and, all regions of the UK are showing signs of growth, which is fantastic news for British businesses, the UK economy and those looking to seek employment in 2014.
Cath Harrison said: “The current good news agenda fuels confidence that there is no time like the present to introduce an innovative new recruitment business, with a model based on complete transparency to deliver optimum results for employers and job seekers alike. It’s also an opportunity to inject a fresh approach to an industry that is so often viewed as expensive and an obstacle to direct engagement.”
JVP Group provides effective and affordable online recruitment advertising and applicant testing solutions for employers across the UK. The professional services available enable speedy attraction of relevant applicants to job vacancies, across multiple industries, disciplines and positions.
Cath Harrison added: “I am thrilled to be entering the new year with the official launch of JVP Group and it’s fantastic to have received so much support from clients past and present along with professional contacts, for which I am very grateful. Plans are in place already to expand the services available and grow the team by the end of year one.”
Having launched the JVP Group website for employers in December, the Job Seeker Zone will launch on January 1st. If your new years’ resolution is to take the leap and find a new job opportunity, visit the site to search for vacancies and access the free resources on offer.
