The Scenario
From their head office in Somerset, IQD Frequency Products Ltd has been providing electronic components for time and frequency control to customers across the world for nearly 50 years.
With an urgent need to recruit a Technical Support Engineer, the company were eager to quickly start the recruitment process. IQD were familiar with the concept of online recruitment advertising before they approached JVP Group, however, the online recruitment advertising provider they had used multiple times previously had offered a bare minimum service.
Following a consultation and recruitment strategy review with JVP Group, IQD were confident that the comprehensive job advertising solution provided by JVP would enable them to attract the best people, without having to spend too much time or money in the process.
The Solution
IQD decided to invest in a recruitment advertising package which would enable them to target and attract their ideal candidates by marketing their employer branded job advert (written by JVP Group) in all the right places.
IQD were provided with access to the JVP Group Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to save them time managing the recruitment process, by enabling them to quickly filter through CVs and respond to candidates using built-in, tailored email templates.
In comparison to the alternative online recruitment advertising provider used previously, where IQD had to write their own job advert, had no social media recruitment marketing support and no ATS to manage the response, the difference between the JVP Group approach and the “cheaper” alternative was stark!

The Results
Hired from first interview…IQD quickly hired the perfect candidate who happened to be the very first person they interviewed – this had never happened to them before, so they were delighted with the outcome.
