We had attempted to recruit a new Field Sales Executive on two occasions but found the overall quality of the candidates not to be satisfactory. After working with JVP I’m pleased to say that not only did they manage to attract a great quality of candidates, but the simple to use software helped me to quickly go over the applications and create a shortlist for interview in a fraction of the time it did before. We now have a Field Sales Executive and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I would have no hesitation in either using JVP again or recommending them to other businesses.
As a publicly funded organisation we have to be really careful when considering resources and budgets and the pressure to provide more for less is felt more than ever. When vacancies arise we always consider the level of requirement to fill the vacancy and any alternative methods to cover the workload. When a vacancy is approved for advertising, we use in-house recruitment methods which are generally very successful, occasionally though we have more niche roles which can be difficult to fill and the risk of leaving these posts vacant can be significant. On these occasions we have previously used recruitment agencies which can be costly and time consuming, however, we recently used JVP and whilst the upfront cost was considered a small risk, it was a risk that paid off. Through JVP we have, with limited input from ourselves, successfully recruited for a difficult to fill position and at a fraction of the cost of traditional agency fees. I would not hesitate to recommend JVP, they are professional, thorough and strive to meet your needs with limited interruption.

The service offered by JVP should not be confused with what you get from basic on-line advertising. The support was excellent and the actual portal used to manage applications was in a different league. We had over 200 applications for one role and yet sifting through these was quick and easy; perhaps taking less than 30 minutes. With a couple of clicks we were able to respond professionally to all of the unsuccessful applicants, and sent interview invitations to the shortlist. Lack of response is a major bugbear with job seekers and using this facility meant we maintained integrity and the professional image of our company without needing to spend hours on the responses.
JVP is efficient and took away the hassle of shortlisting and managing applications – we will definitely use their services again.
