As a publicly funded organisation we have to be really careful when considering resources and budgets and the pressure to provide more for less is felt more than ever. When vacancies arise we always consider the level of requirement to fill the vacancy and any alternative methods to cover the workload. When a vacancy is approved for advertising, we use in-house recruitment methods which are generally very successful, occasionally though we have more niche roles which can be difficult to fill and the risk of leaving these posts vacant can be significant. On these occasions we have previously used recruitment agencies which can be costly and time consuming, however, we recently used JVP and whilst the upfront cost was considered a small risk, it was a risk that paid off. Through JVP we have, with limited input from ourselves, successfully recruited for a difficult to fill position and at a fraction of the cost of traditional agency fees. I would not hesitate to recommend JVP, they are professional, thorough and strive to meet your needs with limited interruption.
